Tobias Lund Andresen (Denmark) put in a fairytale performance to win the stage 2/a time trial at Visegrad 4 Juniors Nations’ Cup race. The Dane covered the 4,5km course in a time of 5:25.571 to hold off the late challenge of Gustav Wang (Denmark).

It was a tense finale for Lund Andersen after Wang had posted the fastest time. German Moritz Kretschy finished third. After two stages, Lund Andersen leads Wang by 10 seconds.

I really liked the track of the time trial, which was technical, but I start a lot of cyclo-cross races in the last winter, so I was able to turn the difficult turns to my advantage. I feel good, I tried to get everything out of myself on the cobblestone part before the finish line. We have kept the yellow jersey, which we also want to protect, but it will not be too easy for the last two stages, because the German national team is very strong” – said Tobias Lund Andresen after the stage.
