The Hungarian national team took the lead in the peloton, several times they tried to control the situation with the help of DKSI-Regional after the start.
Approaching the only intermediate sprint of the day, the Germans take the lead, but the sprint was won by Tobias Lund Andresen from Denmark in front of Egbert Johanson from Estonia and Ármin Sánta from Hungary.
Returning to Ibrány, two more full and a half laps awaited the caravan. Like the first stage, the Danes raised their hair in a teaching way this time around, allowing Tobias Lund to celebrate Andresen’s third stage victory, strengthening his overall lead. Second was German Benjamin Boos, while the third was Austrian Stefan Kovar. As the best Hungarian, Bence Mészáros finished in the fourteenth place.
„My team did a fantastic job this time too. It’s unbelievable that I could now celebrate my third stage victory, nonetheless we have to be very attentive during the final stage as well. Several teams have a very strong rider, and although we are confident in another bunch sprint” – said Tobias Lund Andresen after arriving at the finish line.
