The peloton will start from Szabadság Square in Vásárosnamény at 11:55 and will pass through the villages of Tákos, Csaroda, Tarpa, Tivadar, Gulács and Jánd, finishing after three laps at 15:15.
Twelve cyclists will represent Hungary: Bálint Feldhoffer, Balázs Pollner, Márkó Tóth, Tamás Hancz, András Pakot and Bálint Kárpáti in the national team, while Zsombor Balogh, Dávid Dobai, Ádám Szöllőssy, Marcell Takács, Csaba Vidéki and Marcell Fehérvári will be in the MBH Bank Cycling Team of Kecskemét.

The 2023 home Nations’ Cup Hungary will be the ninth round of the ten-round series and will take place on 16-17 August. The race will start with a road race stage around Vásárosnamény (136.5 kilometres), followed by two half stages the next day, with a morning ride around Ibrány (86.3 kilometres) and an individual time trial in Nyíregyháza (3.5 kilometres) in the afternoon.
