As you may recall, the 2022 Nations’ Cup Hungary ended with a 117.4-kilometre stage between Vásárosnamény and Nyíregyháza on 19 August 2022, which ended with a Polish win – and Hubert Grygowski’s victory in the overall also.

– I had crashed in one of the corners on the same stage a year earlier, so I wanted to come back and get revenge. I think I did that. We had a great race, we had the yellow jersey all the way, we won the team classification and we also took the green jersey. I have to thank all my teammates, everyone gave their best,” said the young rider, who spent his first U23 season in 2023 in France, with CIC U Nantes Atlantique, before joining the development team of WorldTeam Arkéa-B&B Hotels a year later.

This year, he finished fifth in the V4 Polish Grand Prix, but will start the 2025 season in new colours with the Polish team Mazowsze Serce Polski.
