The star of the race was Tobias Lund Andresen from Denmark, who won all the stages, and although the German and Italian national teams tried their best, they could not take the overall victory away from him.
In addition, the riders of the Scandinavian country were not satisfied with that, Gustav Wang finished third, but Christian Spang Kjeldsen and Stian Rosenlund also made it to the Top 10. Knowing all this, it is clear that in 2021 they will also come with victory goals.
Based on the preliminary entries, Gustav Wang will be the only returnee who will of course try to carry on Andresen’s eternity, and since it is an excellent time trial abiliy – similar to Kristian Egholm – he can even gain an advantage on the Nyíregyháza prologue. In addition to the two of them, Oliver Sondergaard can also prove to be strong enough to win the World Cup in Hungary as a chance through a great team unity, in the hope of Denmak defending the title.
Preminary entry list for the Danes: Gustav Wang, Pelle Koster Mikkelsen, Henrik Breiner Pedersen, Kristian Egholm, Frederik Lykke and Oliver Sondergaard
