Dear Sport Friends,
It is a great pleasure for me to become the main patron for the second time of the Hungarian Nations’ Cup race, as it is a very important series of youth competitions, which will be coming to Hungary again.
Domestic cycling is developing at a rapid pace and climbing up among the best in recent years. It is enough to think about what kind of teams will be in the Tour de Hongrie every year, or that if the conditions allow, the Giro d’Italia can start from Hungary soon. One of the three most prestigious races in the world, moreover, is where the young Hungarian talent, Attila Valter, was the first Hungarian rider to wearing the pink jersey for the overall leader this year, drawing attention to Hungarian cyclists that was unprecedented.
The world has noticed the Hungarian cyclists and I am sure that the Hungarian young people have also noticed that they can even choose this sport in the future. And racing is the best way to promote the sport.
It is a great pleasure that Eastern Hungary can host the route of the Youth World Cup and thereby greatly help the development of young Hungarian talents in international sports.
