This year’s Junior Nations’ Cup series concluded in South Korea from 26 to 30 August. The five-day event was not exactly easy, with plenty of climbs to keep the peloton on their toes.
Every stage was won by a rider from the Dutch team Willebrord Wil Vooruit, with only Onto p/b Hincapie able to challenge their dominance, which meant that they failed to take all the podium places.
In the general classification Max van der Meulen (Willebrord Wil Vooruit) finished in first place, ahead of teammate Menno Huising (Willerbrord Wil Vooruit) and American Jack Makonon (Onto p/b Hincapie).
France leads the Union Cycliste International (UCI) national rankings ahead of the World Championships, with Belgium second and Norway third.
