Unlike the first stage, the winner was decided by a sprint finish in Ibrány, with Norwegian Filip-Andre Smoras, the leader in the points competition, triumphing – the best Hungarian, Boldizsár Zsembery (MBH Bank Cycling Team), finished in an impressive sixth place.

A breakaway came home in Vásárosnamény in the first stage of the two-day international race, where Ukrainian Oleh Smolynets triumphed – the best Hungarian, Alex Martin Dorogi (MBH Bank Cycling Team), took eleventh place.

The race begins with a 136.5-kilometer road stage around the town of Bereg. The peloton will start at 11:55 a.m. from Szabadság Square in Vásárosnamény, then pass through the towns of Tákos, Csaroda, Tarpa, Tivadar, Gulács and Jánd, and is expected to finish at 3:15 p.m. after completing three laps.
